NOTICE
Long threaded rods for wood door.
Ladder pulls are shipped from factory with 1-3/4” threaded rods.
3-1/4” threaded rods (item # 7) are required for wood doors. These rods will be in a hardware
bag in the box.
Pull hardware is factory assembled to the external pull handle standoffs.
- Remove threaded anchors.
- Remove threaded anchors (4) and bushings (9) from 1-3/4” threaded rods.
- Unscrew 1-3/4” threaded rods (5) from threaded inserts inside standoffs.
- Install rose assemblies onto threaded rods.
- Thread the 3-1/4” threaded rods into the threaded inserts (3) inside the standoffs. Tighten threaded rods against socket head cap screws (8).
- No bushing (9) is required for wood doors.

- Drill holes for external pull threaded rods in door
- Reference the architectural drawings to determine hole locations in the door.
- Drill a 9/32” [9] thru-hole for each threaded rod.
- Place external pull assembly against wood door.
- Align external pull standoffs with holes in wood door and insert threaded rods into holes in door.
- Push external pull assembly toward wood door until standoff gaskets are flush with wood door surface.
- Install threaded anchors on threaded rods
- Install threaded anchor (4) onto each threaded rod. Tighten each threaded anchor (4) against the wood door.
- Trim threaded rods.
- Trim excess length of threaded rods (7) to be flush with the threaded anchors (4).

- Drill holes for external pull threaded rods in door
- Ensure standoff set screws (11) are loosened or removed prior to internal pull installation.
- Align internal pull handle standoffs with threaded anchors (4).
- Slide pull handle standoffs onto threaded anchors until standoffs are flush with wood door surface.
- Using a 1/8” hex key, tighten set screws (11) against threaded anchors (4).
