1. Drilling for dust-proof strike – applies to IC and SC panels
1.1 Extend first panel and extend strike down to contact floor surface.
1.2 Mark strike location on floor surface.
1.3 Move panel away from strike location on floor.
1.4 Center top plate over strike location on floor.
1.5 Move panel back so that strike is above strike location on floor.
1.6 Move panel bolt down to top plate on floor.
1.7 Check top plate alignment with bolt.
1. Drill holes for top plate mounting. Hole size based on fasteners used.
2. Use 25 mm hole saw to drill a 1-3/8” [35] deep hole for strike body. Clean out any debris.
1.8 Install strike and secure top plate with included fasteners.

2. Strike top cap locking
When panels are in stacking area, the top cap can be locked to prevent full vertical travel.
2.1 To lock top cap travel, use screwdriver to rotate top cap counterclockwise until it stops.
2.2 To test, press down on strike top cap. Travel should be limited as shown in figure below.
2.3 To release, rotate top cap clockwise until it stops. Test with screwdriver for full vertical travel.
