1. Install rails on glass panels – with monolithic glass
1.1 Reference sales order for assignment of DRS rails to each panel number.
CAUTION
Mounting components must meet the requirements of substructure/wall and door weight. Please read the
technical information for fittings.
NOTICE
Clean glass.
Fully clean surface of glass with an alcohol-based mild glass surface cleaner.
CAUTION
DRS rail gaskets
Ensure DRS rail gaskets are free of debris.
Ensure DRS rails are square on glass.
Ensure DRS rails are square on glass prior to hanging panel to avoid excessive overall door adjustment once
panel is mounting in track.

1.2 Prepare single-action panel.
1. Lay glass panel on a flat, clean surface.
2. Tape setting blocks to both ends of glass.Ref: Fig. 3.
• 2-1/2” [64] from edge of glass.
• Two each for rails up to 48” [1219].
2. DRS rails and covers are marked with panel number.
3. Slightly loosen DRS rail socket head cap screws (DO NOT FULLY REMOVE).
NOTE: If bottom rail contains locking mechanism, ensure rail is secured in proper direction for
lock usage.
4. Slide DRS rails onto top and bottom ofglass panel. Edge of glass must be 3/16” [5]
from edge of rails.
5. Fully tighten and torque 5/16 x 1-1/4” SHCS rail screws. Start at center and work outwards.
Torque values
Rails 10ft lbs [14Nm](work up to 15ft lbs [20Nm])
| 1 | Extrusion, 3-5/8” rail |
| 2 | 5/16-18 x 1-1/4” SHCS |

2. Install rails on glass – with tempered laminated glass only
2.1 Reference customer order for assignment of DRS rails to each panel number.
CAUTION
Glass and rail surfaces.
• Fully clean glass surface with an alcohol-based mild cleaner.
• Ensure rail is clean and free of debris.
CAUTION
Rails fully square with glass.
• Ensure rails are square prior to hanging panels to avoid adjustment once panels mounted in track.
2.2 DRS rails and covers are marked with panel number.
2.3 Prepare the single-action panel with temperedlaminated glass only
1. Loosen rail screws. (DO NOT FULLY REMOVE).
2. Lay glass panel on a flat surface, interior sidefacing upward
NOTICE
Bottom rail locking mechanism.
If bottom rail contains locking mechanism, ensure rail is secured in proper direction for lock usage.
3. Tape setting blocks to both ends of glass.
• 2-1/2” [64] from edge of glass.
• Two each for rails up to 48” [1219]
CAUTION
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Urethane Adhesive:
• Use 1:1 ratio plunger.
• Recommended adhesive set-up time is 20 minutes for the DUO-PAK cartridges.
NOTICE
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Urethane Adhesive
Onto scrap material, first dispense approximately12” of 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Urethane Adhesive prior to
application to prevent mixing errors and ensure optimal hardening.
4. Apply 1/8” [3] bead of adhesive along inside of each section of top rail.
Make sure the adhesive does not touch bottom glass pocket of rail.
CAUTION
Clamping surface must be flat.
5. Slide rails onto top and bottom of glass panel.DO NOT WIPE any excess adhesive from glass
surface. Allow adhesive to dry and scrape off glass surface with a beveled-edge chisel or
putty knife.
6. Top rail: Fully tighten and torque rail socket head cap screws to specified torque for
tempered laminate glass.
| Torque values for tempered laminate glass | |
| Rail socket head cap screws and nuts | 4ft lbs [5Nm] Work up to 8ft lbs [11Nm] |
• Start at center bolt and work outwards.
• Repeat tightening sequence
