1. Install floor portion of 8852 pivot (for PC1 panel with 8852 pivot)
1.1 Install floor portion of 8852 pivot.
1. Align 8852 floor pivot 2-3/4” [70] from edge of door jamb.
NOTICE
Ensure pivot is plumb and level and adjust if wall or floor is out of plumb.
2. Mark and drill holes, and recess into flooring surface (if required).
3. Floor pivot: Insert anchors if necessary.
4. Secure 8852 pivot to floor surface using included mounting fasteners.

2.1 Install BTS 80 floor closer.

1. Align BTS 80 floor closer spindle 2-3/4” [70] from edge of door jamb.

3.1 Prepare upper pivot for track installation.
1. Remove retaining clip and set aside.
2. Slide upper pivot centering pin assemblyfrom upper pivot block assembly.
3. Loosen two hex head screws and make flush with top of upper pivot block.

4.1 Install PC1 panel upper pivot block into stacking area straight section.
Pivot block location determined by stacking
arrangement. Refer to customer order.
Fig. 6 is shown as an example.
1. Install two hex head screws (2) into pivot block. Thread into block until bottom of screws
are flush with block surface.
2. Slide block assembly into track until block centerline is 2-3/4” from wall.
3. Plumb with floor pivot.
4. Tighten two hex head screws to secure block against track.
5. Install centering pin assembly into rail
5.1 Install centering pin assembly into top rail prep block.
1. Loosen nut (6) (Fig. 9)
2. Slide centering pin assembly roller set block (3) into prep block (2). Note: washer must be
above prep block as shown in Fig. 10
NOTE: If prep block (2) is too tight to allow for the pin assembly to slide freely, loosen the outer
extrusion screw #10).
3. Lower centering pin to allow for clearance by rotating it as far in as it can go.
4. Set centering pin at 2-9/16” [65] (as reference) from end of rail extrusion (Fig. 11).
5. Keep nut (6) loose for adjustment.
NOTE: Pin height will have to be adjusted up for it to engage into the pivot block when installing
panel into track.

1. Rest glass panel on setting blocks behind the floor pivot, aligning the pin (2) with the upper
pivot block (1).
2. Tip top of panel towards track. Lift panel up and slide centering pin into upper pivot block (Fig. 5.2.1).
3. Lower panel and slide bottom of panel into floor pivot (4).
4. Ensure panel is level and plumb.
5. Adjust panel height up or down by adjusting bottom pivot (4) with 8852 wrench.
6. Thread upper pin to engage upper pivot block. Flats of pin to be passed through bottom of
pivot block.
7. To plumb panel;
• Adjust upper pin assembly left or right in the upper rail (Fig. 5.2.2) and/or:
• For horizontal movment, adjust SHCS (9) to move adjustable prep block (8) (Fig. 5.2.1).
7. Tighten upper pivot in place by screwing down hex nut (5) with 17 mm open end wrench (7).
8. If SHCS (10) was loosened, torque the screw after the pin assembly adjustments are final.
Reference Chapter 6 for torque specification.
9. Rotate panel into stacking area.

1. Insert retaining clip [for upper pivot] into slot by using needle nose pliers.
2. Squeeze clip together and insert it from bottom of track. Align one side of clip into track groove
and push the other side up
3. Tap/snap into flats around centering pin using rubber mallet.
