Description

Manual diagnostics allow you to test the lock’s electronic components, including the green LED, red LED, buzzer, and all twelve pushbuttons (0–9, *, and #).

Use this procedure to verify keypad functionality or to troubleshoot suspected hardware issues before requesting service.

Resolution

Required User Level: Master

1. Put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode.
2. Enter the Diagnostics command: 
   500#
3. Confirm diagnostic mode starts:
   • Green LED with a high beep
   • Red LED with a low beep

4. Test each pushbutton by entering the following sequence exactly: 
   123456789*0#

   For each functioning pushbutton, the lock displays a green LED and emits a normal beep.

5. Example of a complete diagnostic entry: 
   500#123456789*0#
6. Press # to exit programming mode.
7. If the lock displays a red LED during button testing or at the end of the sequence, a pushbutton may not be functioning correctly.
8. Repeat the diagnostic sequence to confirm correct entry: 
   500#123456789*0#
9. Press # again to exit programming mode.
10. If the red LED still appears, the lock has a hardware issue. Contact a qualified service technician to repair or replace the lock.
