Description

Lockout Mode temporarily disables all active User Access Codes, including Manager Codes, but excluding the Master Code. Use Lockout Mode during emergencies, such as a fire or fire drill, to prevent users from accessing their offices.

Activating or deactivating Lockout Mode allows facility managers to quickly secure the building without altering the Master Code or permanent lock configuration.

Resolution

Required User Level: Master

1. Put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode.
2. Enter the Lockout Mode command: 
   499#
3. Specify the Lockout Mode action:
   • 1# to activate Lockout Mode
   • 0# to deactivate Lockout Mode
4. Example of a complete entry: 
   499#1# to activate or 499#0# to deactivate.
5. Press # to indicate the end of programming.
6. Lockout Mode is now activated or deactivated as specified.
