Description

Passage Mode allows a door to remain unlocked for a default duration you previously programmed. When you enable Passage Mode, it automatically stays active for the set duration defined in Procedure 5 - Program the Duration of the Passage Mode period.

Resolution

Required User Level: Master, Manager

1. Put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode.
2. Enter the command to activate or deactivate Passage Mode: 
   399#
3. Specify the mode: 
   1 = activate Passage Mode
   0 = deactivate Passage Mode
4. Example of complete entry to activate Passage Mode: 
   399#1#
5. Press # to indicate the end of programming.
6. Passage Mode is now activated or deactivated on the door.

Additional Notes

Note: The duration feature is not available on PowerPlex 2000 models.

If the programmed duration is 6 hours and you enable Passage Mode at 1:00, the lock will automatically re-lock at 7:00. Even if you enable and disable Passage Mode multiple times during this period, the lock will re-lock exactly at the end of the original duration. This ensures the lock never stays in Passage Mode beyond the programmed time.
