Description

A Service User is a person who requires temporary access to a lock for tasks such as painting, maintenance, or repairs. A Service User Access Code allows entry, exit, and re-entry for a limited number of hours.

Resolution

Required User Level: Master, Manager

1. Put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode.
2. Enter the command to add or modify a Service User Access Code: 102#
3. Enter the Service User ID location (three-digit number) followed by #: e.g., 025#
4. Enter the User Access Code (4–8 digits depending on procedure settings) followed by #: e.g., 2240#
5. Re-enter the same code for confirmation: 2240#

6. Enter the number of hours the code should be valid (01–24). Entering 00 creates a “one-shot” code for a single entry.

7. Press # to indicate the end of programming.
8. The Service User Access Code is now active and will grant access for the specified period from the first use.
