E2000 Operation

The E-Plex 2000 uses three (3) AA alkaline batteries.

Because the lock is battery powered, electrical power is always available to the electronic circuit. This allows users to:

• Access the lock at any time using a valid PIN
• Program the lock directly at the keypad

No external power source is required for normal operation or programming.
