How to activate BLE mobile in SRK-RNFC2 Readers
dormakaba BLE Programming
SRK BLE readers are factory defaulted to the demo BLE Project ID and require on-site
programming based on the customer’s site code as entered in their database.
Required Hardware (not provided)
- HH6 Version 2.17 or higher
- Cable DB (to Molex) Part#: A71800
Program Project ID
Follow these steps to program the reader with the end-user BLE Project ID:
- Sync the HH6 device with the dormakaba DB, which uses the assigned BLE Project ID.
- Power the HH6 device.
- Go into the Menu Tools.
- Select 2 – Prog. Reader.
- Select 5 – Prog. Keysc BLE.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Optional Features
The BLE RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) level can be configured to control the effective communication distance between the device and the lock.
Select one of the following RSSI settings based on the desired operating range:

| -128 | Maximum range (approximately 40+ feet) |
| -40 | Minimum range (a few inches) |
Steps to set the RSSI level
- With the HH6 powered, go into Menu Tools.
- Select 2 – Prog. Reader.
- Select 1 – Change RSSI.
- Set the desired RSSI level.
