Software Discontinuation: E-Plex Enterprise Software
Earlier this year, we communicated our plan to discontinue the E-Plex 3000 and 5000 series locks and associated software and accessories at the end of 2025. We are now accelerating the timeline of the E-Plex Enterprise software discontinuation. This software is officially discontinued effective immediately.
The Reason for this Immediate Change
This decision is driven by a recent, significant update to the Windows operating system that has unfortunately introduced a critical incompatibility, effectively rendering the E-Plex Enterprise Software obsolete on the newest platforms.
Compatibility Note for Current Users
While the software is not compatible with the new feature updates on Windows 11 with second-half releases and beyond, we understand many customers rely on this system. You may be able to continue using the software on older, supported operating systems (such as Windows 10 or earlier, stable releases of Windows 11) that have not received this specific update. However, please be aware that this continued operation is at your own risk, as we are unable to provide technical support for these unsupported environments.
