Issue: Errors when trying to log in to Ambiance software.
Troubleshooting Steps
Step 1: Restart the system – Begin by restarting the Ambiance server as well as the front desk computers.
Step 2: Check if the issue persists – If the errors continue after the restart, login using administrator credentials and follow the steps below.
Step 2a: Open the ‘’Start Menu’’ → Click the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
Type ‘’Ambiance Services Manager’’, then right-click the application and select ‘’Run as administrator’’.
Step 2b: In the Services Manager, check the list of services.
- Make sure all services with Startup type: Automatic show a State: Running.
- If they are all Stopped, select them all and click the Play (Start) button.
- If some are Running and others are Stopped, select only the ones with State: Stopped and Startup type: Automatic, then click the Play (Start) button.
Step 2b: The application may take some time to update. The selected services should now switch to Running.
⚠️ Remember: only start services with Startup type: Automatic (see the example image below).
Step 2d: To confirm the services are running, repeat Step 1: open the Ambiance Services Manager as an administrator and check their status again.
Step 2e: If all Ambiance services are showing as Running, try opening the Ambiance Website and log in.
Step 2e: If some services are still stopped:
- Try restarting them manually by selecting each one and clicking Start.
Step 2g: If you receive Error 1053, or if services appear as Running but you still cannot log in or access the website, please contact Dormakaba Technical Support at 1800.999.6213 Opt#1 with the admin credentials for quickest help.
