User - General Information in E-Plex 36xx/37xx/56xx/57xx Series Locks
Master and Manager users can unlock the door or enter programming mode, with strict timing limits and error recovery handled by the * key, while all users are stored in a 300-slot memory table with the Master reserved in slot 000.
Master and Manager credentials have two functions:
- Unlock the door by entering the access credential normally (do not include
#). - Enter LearnLok™ Pushbutton Programming Mode by entering
#, then the access credential, then#again.
User storage:
- Each user (Master, Manager, or Access user) occupies one memory slot in the lock’s user table.
- The lock supports 300 user slots, numbered 001–300.
- The Master user is stored in location 000, which is reserved exclusively for the Master.
Programming time limits (Master and Manager only):
- You have 15 seconds total to complete an entire programming sequence.
- You may not pause more than 5 seconds between individual button presses.
- If either time limit is exceeded, the lock will:
- Abort the current programming sequence
- Exit programming mode automatically
- Provide a Keypad Timeout notification using LEDs and the buzzer
Error correction:
- If you make an incorrect entry during a programming sequence, press the
*key. - Pressing
*clears all input from the start of the current command. - The 15-second timer resets, allowing you to re-enter the full command sequence.
