E-Plex LearnLok™ Auditor Kit Instructions

The LearnLok™ Auditor Kit allows you to retrieve audit records from Kaba E-Plex card-based locks. Follow the steps below to properly set up and use the kit on a Laptop or Netbook PC.

Setup and Operation

1. Insert the ActiSys USB - IrDA Adaptor: Plug the IrDA adaptor into an available USB port on your Laptop or Netbook PC. The adaptor should be “Plug & Play” under Windows. If it does not install automatically, refer to the manufacturer’s instructions and CD included with the IrDA adaptor. 
   
2. Insert the Kaba USB Memory Drive: Plug the Kaba USB memory drive into an additional USB port. Run the file EPLEX-LEARNLOK-AUDITOR.exe to start the application. 
   
3. Retrieve Audit Records: Follow the on-screen instructions under the “Help” menu to retrieve audit records from your Kaba E-Plex locks in LearnLok™ mode. Refer to the diagram below for guidance.
