Description

A Service User is an individual who requires temporary access to a lock to perform tasks such as maintenance, repairs, or room servicing. A Service User Access Code allows entry, exit, and re-entry for a programmable duration of up to 24 hours.

Resolution

Required User Level: Master, Manager

1. Put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode.
2. Enter command 102# to add or modify a Service User Access Code.
3. Enter the Service User ID location (a three-digit number from your User ID list), followed by #. Example: 025#.
4. Enter UUUUUUUU#, representing a Service User Access Code between 4 and 8 digits, based on the configured code length. 
   Example for a 4-digit code: 2240#.
5. Re-enter the same Service User Access Code to confirm. 
   Example: 2240#.
6. Enter the access duration in hours, programmable from 01 to 24. 
   Example: 04. 
   
   Entering 00 programs a one-shot access code, allowing a single entry only. Once the door closes, re-entry will not be permitted.
7. Example of complete programming sequence: 
   102# 025# 2240# 2240# 04#
8. Enter a final # to exit programming mode.
9. The Service User Access Code 2240 will now grant access for 4 hours, starting from the first successful entry.
