Description

Whenever you add a Manager access to a door, you must program the door with a Manager Access Code. If you need to change the Access Code for an existing Manager, the procedure remains the same.

Resolution

Required User Level: Master

1. Put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode.
2. Enter command 101# to add or modify a User Access Code.
3. Enter the User ID location (three-digit number from your list) followed by #, e.g., 024#.
4. Enter UUUUUUUU#, representing the User Access Code (4–8 digits depending on Procedure 1 selection). Example for a 4-digit code: 1224#.
5. Re-enter the same User Access Code, e.g., 1224#.
6. Example of Complete Entry: 101#024#1224#1224#.
7. Enter another # to indicate the end of programming.
8. The Manager Access Code (e.g., 1224) will now work on that door with all privileges assigned to a Manager.
9. Manager Users can open the door by entering the Access Code without # signs, or put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode by entering # before and after their Access Code to program any lock.
