How to Add or Modify a User Access Code in E-Plex 30xx/50xx
This guide explains how to re-activate or assign access codes for situations like temporary deactivation or suspected credential theft.
All credentials can be deleted if needed.
Warning: manually re-enrolling many users can be time-consuming.
Resolution- To remove access, delete the User ID location. This frees it for a new user.
- De-activation without deletion prevents adding a new user with the same number. Use de-activation for temporary absences (e.g., vacation).
- User ID locations are 3-digit numbers assigned by the Master or Manager. Keep an updated list of User IDs and assigned users when programming locks.
Required User Level: Master, Manager - Put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode.
- Enter command 100# to add or modify a User Access Code.
- Enter the User ID location followed by #: NNN#. Example: 023# (range 000–299). See User List Table on page 28.
- Enter UUUUUUUU# for the User Access Code (4–8 digits depending on Procedure 1). Example for 4 digits: 1024#.
- Re-enter the code: 1024#.
- Example of complete entry: 100#023#1024#1024#.
- Enter another # to end programming.
- The User Access Code 1024 is now active for this door.
