How to program the lock for Tamper Time parameters in E-Plex 30xx/50xx?
DescriptionYou can set a Tamper Time Wrong Tries parameter, which defines the number of times a wrong code can be entered before the lock enters Tamper Shutdown Mode. For example, if you program the lock to accept three wrong entries, the lock will allow three wrong attempts, staying locked but providing visual feedback (see visual message chart in the rear section). After that, it will enter Tamper Shutdown Mode and remain locked for the duration of the Tamper Shutdown Time period, which is configured in Step 4 below. |
ResolutionRequired User Level: Master, Manager
Example: If the lock is set to 30 seconds Tamper Shutdown after three wrong entries, it will remain locked for 30 seconds, ignoring all codes including the Master Code. Only the mechanical override key can open the lock during this time. |
