Description

You can set a Tamper Time Wrong Tries parameter, which defines the number of times a wrong code can be entered before the lock enters Tamper Shutdown Mode.

For example, if you program the lock to accept three wrong entries, the lock will allow three wrong attempts, staying locked but providing visual feedback (see visual message chart in the rear section). After that, it will enter Tamper Shutdown Mode and remain locked for the duration of the Tamper Shutdown Time period, which is configured in Step 4 below.

Resolution

Required User Level: Master, Manager

1. Set the tamper time: the period the keypad remains inaccessible after the specified number of wrong Access Codes are entered.
2. Put the lock into Pushbutton Programming Mode.
3. Enter the code: 006#TT# (TT = seconds, 00 to 90).
4. Example: 006#60# (60 seconds).

5. Enter the code: 007#TT# (TT = number of wrong entries, 03 to 09), e.g., 05 for five attempts.

   Example: 007#05#.

6. Press # to end programming.
7. After the specified number of wrong entries, the lock remains locked for the Tamper Shutdown period, even if a valid code (Master or Manager) is entered. Only the mechanical key override can open the lock during this period.
8. Press # again to confirm the end of programming.

Example: If the lock is set to 30 seconds Tamper Shutdown after three wrong entries, it will remain locked for 30 seconds, ignoring all codes including the Master Code. Only the mechanical override key can open the lock during this time.
