Process: The following steps are a guide to moving a basic installation to a new server. Install Aurora on the new server (Database, Client, Agent, and Standard Communications). Refer to the specifications for supported Microsoft Operating Systems. Non-Microsoft Operating Systems are only supported via a virtualized environment. After the database has been restored, start the services that were stopped in step 6. After starting the services, launch the Aurora Client and navigate to the Hardware Setup screen. Navigate to each device and update the Communications Server to the correct server name. Click the Save button at the bottom left of the screen. Repeat this process for all devices. Remote Clients will need to be updated to the new server name/IP address and firewall rules on the new server might be required. Contact Support for assistance if required. |
