Question What do you do if launching the Aurora client on the server is not successful?

Answer The SQL data files may be corrupted. Here are a few items to check first:
If the answer is yes to all, it is likely that the SQL is corrupted, and this document will attempt to repair the SQL. The first step is to stop the following services. To do this, press the Windows key and the R key at the same time to open the Run command. Type in Service.msc and then press Enter.
Once the services are stopped, back up the raw data files located in the following location (where “xx” represents the 2-digit SQL version code). Move them into a backup folder within the same folder, desktop, etc. C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQLxx.AURORA\MSSQL\DATA\ Copy the correct blank data files from below into the empty DATA folder. Start the SQL Server (AURORA) service only and see if the client launches.
