After downloading the file, extract the package, explore into the folder, right-click on “AutoRun.exe” and “Run as administrator”.
Select your language preference and click “Install Driver”.
Once the setup completes, connect the printer to your computer.
The SOLID-510S has accessible cable connections and On/Off button. The SOLID-510D and SOLID-510L are more difficult to reach. For these printers, please gently lay the printer on its side to gain access.

Printing From Aurora – Single Sided
Once the printer has been setup and showing in the Printers & Scanners screen, credentials can be printed from Aurora.
To start, a template will need to be created. In the Application Management menu, select Manage Global Card Templates.
CR80 Portrait and Landscape are the only “out of the box” supported Sizes.
Add a new template, then update the Name and Card Type fields. The Card Type field determines if the template will be used across the database, or just within a single site. Complete the template setup and hit Save.
On the cardholder screen, under the Manage menu and the Manage People selection, you will now be able to print to the template.
Select your Template from the dropdown, Site if required, and click ok. Select the Solid 510 printer model installed and click Print.
Printing From Aurora – Double Sided
If credentials are going to be printed on both sides (duplex), then the printing preferences need to be updated.
From the Printers & Scanners screen within Windows, double-click the Solid 510 printer in the list, open Printing Preferences, and select the Printing tab. Change the Print Side setting Side: from Top to Both (Top + Bottom).
Following the steps in “Printing From Aurora – Single Sided”, you required an additional template for front & back (top & bottom) printing.
When printing your credential, you will select your Template from the dropdown, Site if required, and a Back Template.
Click the Ok button and then select the Solid 510 printer model installed. It is recommended to verify duplex printing by clicking “Preferences”, selecting the Printing tab, and ensuring that Side is set to Both (Top + Bottom).
