Description

Use this procedure to program the current time on an Auditcon Model 552 lock. The lock requires the time to be set correctly before you perform any other time-based or audit-related functions.

Resolution

Before You Begin

• Ensure you have the Master User combination

• Complete Set Lock Date before setting the lock time

• Perform this procedure before using any deluxe time functions

Step-by-Step Instructions: Set Lock Time

1. Enter Time Programming Mode

   • Press #, then 7.

2. Authenticate as Master User

   • Enter the Master User combination.

3. Set the Hour

   • Enter the two-digit hour using the 24-hour format (00–23).

   • Re-enter the same two-digit hour to confirm.

4. Set the Minutes

   • Enter the two-digit minutes (00–59).

   • Re-enter the same two-digit minutes to confirm.

Once the final confirmation is accepted, the lock stores the programmed time.

Important Notes

• You must complete Set Lock Date and Set Lock Time before initiating any other deluxe time-related operations.

• Use a 24-hour clock format when entering the time.

• Periodically reset the time. The Model 552 clock may drift by up to 15 minutes per year.
