How to Set the Operating Mode and Assign a Lock ID on Auditcon Models 252 & 552?

Description

When you change the operating mode, the lock prompts you to enter a two-digit Lock ID (01–99). This number identifies the lock in audit reports. Assigning a Lock ID is optional. To skip this step, enter 00 when prompted.

Resolution

1. Press #, then press 2. 
2. Enter the Master User combination. 
3. Select the access type:
   • 01 = Single User access
   • 02 = Dual User access
4. Re-enter 01 or 02 to confirm the access type. 
5. Select the operating mode:
   • 01 = Independent mode
   • 02 = Super/Sub mode
6. Re-enter 01 or 02 to confirm the operating mode. 
7. Enter a two-digit Lock ID (01–99). To skip Lock ID assignment, enter 00. 
8. If you entered a Lock ID other than 00, re-enter the same number to confirm.
