This procedure explains how to configure the Input Signal as a Remote Disable signal using a Display Keypad on LA GARD 700 Series locks.

Resolution

Follow these steps to configure the Input Signal for Remote Disable mode:

1. Enter an authorized User ID and combination.
2. Navigate to the Main Menu and select System.
3. Select Input Signal from the System submenu.
4. Scroll through the available options and select Disable Open to set the Input Signal to Remote Disable.
5. Confirm the update when “Success – Mode Updated” appears on the display. The keypad beeps three times and flashes the green LED to indicate completion.
