Auto Open Feedback in LA GARD 700 Series Lock
When a user attempts to open a target lock, the Auto Open Sequence is initiated, and the following behavior is observed:
- Auto Open sequence begins after the user selects the Target Lock and executes a successful Open Lock command:
- Lock: Lock 1 will open
- Display: “Lock 1 Open”
- Keypad: Green LED flashes 3 times, with 3 high beeps (if buzzer enabled). Any keypresses will be rejected with a corresponding red LED flash and buzzer beep.
- After approximately 3 seconds:
- Lock: Lock 1 will open
- Display: Displays the time and date, then “In Auto Open Sequence”
- Keypad: Any keypresses will be rejected with a corresponding red LED flash and buzzer beep
- After Approximately 2 seconds or less:
- Lock: All Locks are locked
- Display: “In Auto Open Sequence”
- Keypad: Any keypresses will be rejected with a corresponding red LED flash and buzzer beep
- After approximately 5 seconds or less:
- Lock: All Locks are locked
- Display: Blank screen, “In Auto Open sequence” will reappear if a key is pressed
- Keypad: The keypad will go to sleep. Any keypresses will be rejected with a corresponding red LED flash and buzzer beep
- At the end of the Lag Time:
- Lock: The target lock will open
- Display: “Lock X Open”, where X represents the Target Lock being opened
- Keypad: Green LED flashes 3 times, with 3 high beeps (if buzzer enabled). Any keypresses will be rejected with a corresponding red LED flash and buzzer beep.
- After approximately 3 seconds:
- Lock: The Target Lock will lock
- Display: Displays the time and date
- Keypad: Operates normally
- Auto Open sequence ends
