Paxos - Enabling and Disabling Parallel Mode

The Parallel Mode function determines whether the door locks operate in Parallel Mode (enabled) or independently (disabled).

When Parallel Mode is enabled, all door locks share identical Opening Codes. A change to the Opening Code automatically applies to all door locks.

Important Points

By default (factory settings), Parallel Mode is disabled.
Parallel Mode can only be enabled or disabled when all locks are reset to factory settings.
If not, an error message will appear during activation or deactivation.
Parallel Mode applies only to door locks.
Inner compartment locks cannot operate in Parallel Mode.
When Parallel Mode is enabled:
- All door locks use the same Opening Codes.
- If door lock 1 is opened using the Opening Code OCap, all other valid Opening Codes may be used for the second door lock except OCap.
- For additional door locks, any valid Opening Code may be used except the previously used code.
Parallel Mode can be configured only in the settings for Lock 1 and applies to all other door locks.

(or “0010203040” when using ID + PIN mode)
Requirements:
- System status “Unlocked” (door locks and door bolt open)
- System reset to factory settings and addressed

To enable or disable the function Parallel Mode, proceed as follows:

1. Wake up display (if necessary) and access menu.

2. Select and confirm the menu option “Settings”.

3. Select and confirm menu option “Settings Lock 1”.
4. Enter and confirm Master Code of lock 1.

5. If the function Parallel Mode is disabled, select and confirm the menu option “Settings L1 Other”.

6. Select and confirm menu option “Other L1 Parallel Mode” or “Settings S1 Parallel Mode”.

7. Select and confirm desired setting. – On: Enable Parallel Mode – Off: Disable Parallel Mode
The selected setting is stored. The input unit returns to the menu option “Settings S1 Parallel Mode”. You can now configure other settings or return to the standard mode display.
