Paxos - Enabling and Disabling the Remote Lock Function
The Remote Lock function allows the lock to be locked remotely when triggered by a remote locking contact connected to the corresponding input of the I/O-Box (default: input 1).
When enabled, remote locking can be triggered via the configured input.
When disabled, remote locking is not possible.
Important Points
- By default (on delivery), Remote Lock is disabled.
If the system does not include an I/O-Box or IP-Box, this function has no effect.
The Remote Lock function can be enabled or disabled only in the settings for Lock 1 and applies to the entire locking system.
As standard, the Remote Lock function is monitored for sabotage.
This setting can be changed only using the AS384 Management-Suite Software.
The resistive circuit used for sabotage surveillance (for example, when connecting a hazard alert) is described in the installation instructions.
AS384 Management-Suite Software
In Extended Mode of the locking system, the AS384 Management-Suite Software can be used to assign the Remote Lock function to an input other than input 1.
