Answer A new keypad can be installed into the system to replace a damaged unit. This operation can be completed by an authorized user. When the installation is completed, an audit record will be stored in the lock identifying the user who installed the new keypad. Once the keypad is paired, the system returns to normal operation. Keypads with display screens provide prompts that guide the user through the installation process.
