Paxos - Enabling/Disabling Dual Mode
The Dual Mode function defines whether the lock requires two valid codes to open or one valid code.
When Dual Mode is enabled, the lock requires two valid opening codes to unlock.
When Dual Mode is disabled, the lock requires only one valid opening code.
By default, Dual Mode is disabled in the factory settings.
You must configure Dual Mode individually for each lock.
To enable Dual Mode in the menu, the lock must already have two opening codes created.
Authorization: Master Code
Requirement: System status must be Unlocked (door locks and door bolt open)
Steps to enable or disable the function Dual Mode
1. Wake up the display if necessary and access the menu. | ||
2. Select and confirm the menu option Settings. | ||
3. Select and confirm menu option “Settings Lock 1”. | ||
4. Enter and confirm Master Code (or Time Code) of lock 1. | ||
5. Select and confirm “Settings Date/Time format”. | ||
6. Select and confirm desired date and time format. | ||
The setting is stored. The input unit returns to the menu option “Settings Date/Time form”. You can now configure other settings or return to the standard mode | ||
