Paxos - Enabling/disabling the Remote Lock Function
The Remote Lock function defines whether the locking system can be locked remotely using an external contact connected to the I/O-Box (default: Input 1).
When enabled, a signal on the configured input triggers a remote locking action.
When disabled, remote locking inputs have no effect.
By default, Remote Lock is disabled at delivery.
In Extended Mode, you can use the AS384 Management-Suite Software to assign the Remote Lock function to an input other than Input 1.
Configuration Rules and Behavior
If the system does not include an I/O-Box or IP-Box, this function has no operational effect, even if enabled.
You can enable or disable Remote Lock only in the settings for lock 1.
The setting applies to the entire locking system.By default, the Remote Lock input is monitored for sabotage.
You can modify this monitoring behavior only using the AS384 Management-Suite Software. The resistive circuit used for sabotage monitoring (for example, when connected to a hazard or alert system) is defined in the installation instructions.
