ESA doors support multiple operating modes through the program/mode switch or an external mode-switch input. A “night” or bank-desk position holds the door in a secured/reduced-access state outside of business hours. Wire the external mode switch to the designated control input and set the corresponding parameter so the control recognises the night/secure mode; verify the door locks (or restricts to exit-only, per configuration) when that input is active and returns to full automatic when released.
