How to Open the Lock in LA GARD Mechanical 4 Wheel Locks?

Opening the lock – Using the OPENING INDEX 

The lock is shipped with the factory combination of 50. To open, 

  1. turn dial to the LEFT passing 50 at least five times then stop when 50 lines-up with the OPENING Index.
  2.  Turn RIGHT until dial stops, this will retract the bolt.

1Using the OPENING index, turn the dial LEFT (CCW) at least five complete rotations to clear the lock. Do not spin the dial to clear the lock.Lock is cleared and ready for the combination
2Turn the dial RIGHT (CW), passing the first number in the combination four times. Stop exactly on the number the fifth time.First number: 10
Pass 10 four times, stop on 10 the fifth time
3Turn the dial LEFT (CCW), passing the next number three times. Stop exactly on the number the fourth time.Second number: 20
Pass 20 three times, stop on 20 the fourth time
4Turn the dial RIGHT (CW), passing the next number two times. Stop exactly on the number the third time.Third number: 30
Pass 30 twice, stop on 30 the third time
5Turn the dial LEFT (CCW), passing the last number one time. Stop exactly on the number the second time.Last number: 40
Pass 40 once, stop on 40 the second time
6Turn the dial RIGHT (CW) until it stops. The lock bolt is fully retracted when the dial no longer turns right.Lock opens
7To lock the combination lock, turn the dial five complete rotations to the LEFT (CCW).Lock secured
