Reading Axessors Serial Numbers
Axessors however follow a different rule, simply take the first five (5) digits of the serial number, copy it into a Microsoft Excel cell and format the cell to date
Example: 4381937403074
Here are the instructions on how to convert
a serial number to a date using the first
five digits in Microsoft Excel:
Steps:
- Extract the first five digits: From your serial number, identify the first five digits. For example, if your serial number is 4381937403074, the first five digits are 43819.
- Enter the digits into an Excel cell: Open your Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and type the first five digits of the serial number into a cell.
- Format the cell as a date: Right-click on the cell containing the digits.
- Select Format Cells... from the context menu.
- In the Format Cells window, click on the Number tab.
- Under the Category list, choose Date.
- (Optional) You can select a specific date format from the Type list below. If you don't choose a format, Excel will use its default date format.
- Click OK to apply the formatting.
The cell should now display the date equivalent of the first five digits of your serial number.
