The latest Apexx Series system update is now available
The release introduces new configuration capabilities, expands support for Axessor and Strato, and includes security, performance, and reliability improvements.
Apexx Software
New Features:
- Lock Programming Templates for networked system - Create reusable lock programming templates and apply them to locks through Apexx software.
- Enhanced Administrator Permissions - Updated custom administrator permissions for PC Connect functionality.
- PIN Generation Enhancements - Improved PIN generation when a Lock Access Group is added to an existing user or when an existing Lock Access Group assignment is updated.
- L2X File Import Enhancements - L2X files can now be imported multiple times to support smaller or incremental batch uploads.
- Firmware Update Campaign Enhancements - Firmware updates for supported devices connected to the local bus can now be managed through Firmware Update Campaigns prior to commissioning.
- Added support for unattended APEXX software updates, enabling updates to be initiated and completed without operator interaction.
Expanded AS284 Support for Axessor
Additional functionality has been added to Apexx to support AS284-related requirements and legacy Axessor lock deployments:
- Code Confirmation - New user codes must be entered a second time for confirmation, helping reduce errors during code entry.
- Location Information in L2X Imports - Location information is now included with the lock serial number during L2X file imports, making locks easier to identify and manage.
Performance & Security Enhancements
- Improved dashboard processing logic for enhanced performance and responsiveness.
- Additional security enhancements have been incorporated into the Apexx platform.
Resolved Issues
- Resolved an issue that could prevent latitude and longitude values from being saved correctly on Windows systems using certain regional language settings.
Apexx Strato
Expanded Language Support
- Strato support has been expanded beyond English to include the following languages across supported mobile app, software, and documentation interfaces:
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Canadian French
- Mexican Spanish
- German
Apexx Axessor
Lock Selection Enhancements
- Extended the configurable option to use the lowest-numbered Lock ID when determining which lock must be opened to apply configuration changes to Primary Admins and Tenant Admins.
- Updated lock selection logic so use of the lowest Lock ID is no longer dependent on Bank Mode.
Additional Enhancements
- Firmware enhancements have been added to support the new capabilities introduced in this Apexx software release.
Resolved Issues
- Fixed an issue where the confirmation window displayed an incorrect duration.
