How Do You Exit LCO (Lockout) Mode on a Cencon Lock?
Procedure
Retrieve the audit count from the lock by powering it up.
Turn the dial to the left and press ##, then apply the key. The display shows a value such as SC-00 07, which indicates an audit count of 7.
Retrieve the close code by pressing #4, then apply the key. The display shows a value such as C89.
Contact the Control Centre and request the audit count stored in the computer system.
Note: The audit count on the computer must match the audit count on the lock.
If the computer audit count is lower than the lock audit count (for example, 6 instead of 7), the Control Centre must apply a closing code to synchronize the system.
The Control Centre may request the engineer’s key number to reassign the opening code to that key. After issuing a new opening code, complete the following steps:
Power up the lock and enter the issued code.
Do not apply the key.
Wait approximately 4.5 minutes.
Attempt to open the lock using the normal procedure (code, then fob). The lock displays "LCO". This is expected.
Repeat the sub-steps above. On the third attempt, the lock displays "OPR".
Note: Depending on previous failed attempts, additional repetitions may be required.
