Instruction to Read Command #70 on a Cencon Lock
Command #70: Display Active Modes and Activator Identification
Without the need for a user key or an audit key, you can determine the following information on the lock:
- Active Modes:
Identify which modes are currently active on the lock: FL (First Line Maintenance), ro (Route), or bA (Bank mode). - Access Type:
Determine if the mode is in Single (1) or Dual (2) access.
If the activating company used a USB Key Box with version 4.0 or higher software, additional security features are enabled on the lock. For example, Command #70 will display the following details instead of showing zeros, which is the case if the lock was activated with a version below 4.0 or using a PCI card system:
- Company Code (Cn-):
A unique 4-digit code assigned by Dormakaba to the company that activated the mode. This helps vendors identify the company responsible for service needs at the ATM. - USB Key Box ID (bn-):
A 4-digit number assigned to the customer's USB Key Box that created the activation key. This assists in tracking and deterring potential security violations.
Example Output:
01- 1FL Cn 00 00 bn 00 0002- 1ro Cn 00 00 bn 00 0003- 2bA Cn 00 00 bn 00 00
Where:
- "FL" indicates First Line Maintenance mode.
- "ro" indicates Route mode.
- "bA" indicates Bank mode.
- "1" prefix indicates Single access mode.
- "2" prefix indicates Dual access mode.
- "Cn" precedes the company code.
- "bn" precedes the USB Key Box device ID.
