How do I create a custom User Role (USB Communication) in Axessor Apexx Software?

Answer

The Apexx Series Software allows users to create custom User Roles that can be assigned to system users.

To create a custom User Role, follow these steps:

Note: The Replace Keypad permission is not available for users with the User role type.

1. From the Roles screen, click the Add button located at the bottom of the screen.

2. Click the Name text box and enter a name for the new User Role.

3. Use the Role drop-down menu to select one of the three default User Role types to serve as the basis for the new custom role: Administrator, Manager, or User.

4. Under Permissions, click the sliders to enable or disable the permissions you want to apply to the new User Role.

   • A light grey slider on the left indicates the permission is disabled.

   • A bright blue slider on the right indicates the permission is enabled.

5. Click Save to create the new User Role.
