What important information should be considered when managing Lock User PINs in Axessor Apexx?

Answer

NOTE: Whenever a Lock User is added or edited, the software will assign them a new randomly generated PIN. Please note the following regarding User PIN creation and management:

• Ensure that the PIN is given to the Lock User in a secure way.
• When the Lock User uses this code to gain entry to the system using the Apexx keypad, it is valid one time only. After the initial entry, the Lock User will be prompted to immediately change their PIN.
• For improved security, instruct all Lock Users to ensure that they choose PINs that are not simple (e.g. 1,2,3,4,5,6) or easy to guess (based on dates, addresses, etc.)
