Keypad and Lock firmware can be updated using the Update Firmware button on the USB Communication screen. This process ensures that your devices have the latest features and security improvements.

To update device firmware via USB, perform the following steps:

  1. From the main menu, navigate to Locks > USB Communication.
  2. Connect your lock system to the computer running Apexx Series Software, following the standard connection procedure.
  3. Click the Update Firmware Update Firmware icon icon at the top-right of the System Configuration screen.
  4. In the Firmware Update window, select your firmware file from the drop-down menu. If your firmware file is not listed, navigate to the Firmware Management screen to manage your firmware files.
  5. Click the Update Firmware button to start the update. The process will complete after several seconds, depending on the size of your lock system.
