How to Perform Software Setup Once the USB Connection Is Established in Apexx Series Software?

Once the USB connection to the computer is established, complete the setup by following these steps:

1. From the Apexx Series Software menu, click Locks > USB Communication.

2. Click the magnifying glass icon next to Discover Devices to detect all connected lock systems. If your lock system does not appear in the list, you may need to refresh the USB connection using the keypad.

3. When the lock system appears in the list, double-click it or click the Edit (pencil) button.

4. Use the tools available on the System Configuration, Device Configuration, Holidays, Schedules, Users, Roles, Lock Groups, and Audits screens to configure your lock system. Each of these screens/tools is described below.

5. Once you have finished making changes to your lock system, click the Save button.
