About USB Connectivity

If your lock system does not include an eBox, you can use a USB cable to connect your system to the Apexx Series Software. The "USB Communication" section of the Apexx Series Software contains all of the tools needed to configure, program, and update your lock system's settings and firmware using the easy to use software interface.

NOTE: The sections that follow outline how to connect and add lock systems using a USB connection. To setup and connect a lock system using a network connection utilizing the eBox hardware, refer to Add Devices. See Directory Sync Mode for more information.
