Keypad, Lock, and eBox firmware can be updated using the Update Firmware button found on the Lock Systems details screen. Updating firmware ensures your devices have the latest features and security improvements.

Resolution

To perform a firmware update from the Lock Details screen, follow these steps:

1. From the main menu, click Locks > Lock Systems.
2. Locate the Lock System whose firmware you want to update on the Lock System Search screen, then click the Edit button (pencil icon).
3. Click the Update Firmware icon at the top-right of the screen.
4. In the Firmware Update window, select your connection type from the drop-down menu (Network or USB).
5. Use the drop-down menu to select your Firmware File (.zip folder containing the firmware). If the file does not appear, navigate to the Firmware Management screen to manage your firmware files.
6. Click the Update Firmware button. The update process will begin and complete after several seconds, depending on the size of your lock system.
