How do I configure the Email Service (SMTP) in Axessor Apexx Software?

Before creating Audit Event alerts, you must configure your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) settings so that email alerts can be sent through your email system.

To configure the Email Service, edit the appsettings.json file located in the API folder of your Apexx Series Software installation. Within this file, update the EmailServiceSettings section to include all required information. The following represents the minimum information needed for configuration:
