How can I update the Firmware (FW) for a Connected System (Axessor Apexx CIT Release)?

Resolution

You can update Keypad, Lock, and eBox firmware using the Update Firmware button on the Lock System details screen.

Firmware update steps

1. From the main menu, click Locks > Lock Systems.
2. On the Lock System Search screen, locate the Lock System you want to update and click Edit.
3. Click the Update Firmware icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
4. In the Firmware Update window, select the connection type using the drop-down menu (Network or USB).
5. Select the Firmware File from the drop-down menu. This file is the .zip folder that contains the firmware. If the file does not appear, go to the Firmware Management screen to manage firmware files.
6. Click Update Firmware. The update process starts immediately and completes after several seconds. Update time varies based on the size of the lock system.
