How to update the Firmware (FW) for a Local USB System - Axessor Apexx IP Version Release 2.0?

Apexx Series Software enables firmware updates for connected keypad and lock systems via USB. The process uses the Firmware Update button on the USB Communication screen and requires selecting the appropriate firmware ZIP file from the Firmware Management screen.
 

Resolution

For a connected system: Keypad and Lock firmware can be updated using the "Update Firmware" button, found on the USB Communication screen.

To perform a Firmware update via USB, do the following:

1. From the main menu, click Locks > USB Communication
2. Follow the steps described above to connect your lock system to the computer running the Apexx Series Software.
3. Click the "Update Firmware" icon, located at the top right of the System Configuration screen.
4. In the Firmware Update window, use the drop-down menu to select the "Firmware File" (the .zip folder containing the firmware files). If your firmware file does not appear in the list, navigate to the Firmware Management screen to manage your firmware files.
5. Click the "Update Firmware" button. The Firmware Update process will begin and will conclude after several seconds (the time will vary depending on the size of your lock system)
